F.R.E.N.S means a Foundation for the Realization & Elevation of a New Society. Yes. I know. It’s a mouthful. But on one hand, we’re FRENS, because that’s what we aim to do as an NGO. We aim to make friends and expand those networks by establishing connections and real friendships with less-fortunate children and persons with special needs. Our target group is the kind of group we believe needs friends to keep their support system going and to help them realize their full potential.
On the other hand, we hope that by doing this we can inspire others to join our cause and realize that we need to reform society to have more positive attitudes towards this target group, so we can live together in peace and unity. At the end of the day, we’re all FRENS, right?
