IBGL was founded in April 1969 by Hans Barrow. This was a pioneering and significant move because he established what was the first insurance broker in Guyana.
IBGL is a service-orientated company – we put our clients first and that has kept ensured that our name and reputation has lasted the test of time. In particular, we use our knowledge and experience to select the best insurer for each particular client’s risk, and our skilled staff will advise on all the technical aspects of each policy to ensure the insurance cover is in place with minimum delay. We will also assist you with the delivery of all insurance documents, such as certificates and policy documents, if required.
